glass gas hob is a modern design with 5 burners with cast iron pan holders.
The controls are at the front and it is 680mm wide with automatic electric ignition. It can
be converted to run on LPG gas rather than natural gas. It has a main 3.50kW wok burner with 4 other
burners ranging from 3.0 rapid burner and two 1.75 semi rapid burners. The price
is around £187 from most UK stores.
The Meile KM391gss
glass gas hob is a heavy duty and very expensive black hob. As with most hobs of this design it
has 5 burner zones with a wok burner. The width is 930mm with ceramic glass,
auto ignition and flame failure cut out feature. It can be converted to LPG gas
but costs over £800 but Miele is a quality name.
